Philadelphia Health Partnership’s Board of Directors Announces Election of New Officers, Trustees for 2024

At its December 2023 meeting, Philadelphia Health Partnership’s Board of Directors elected new Board leadership: Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Treasurer and welcomed two new members to its Board of Directors.

Building upon years of collective service to PHP, the new Officers of the Board share a passion for stewarding the foundation’s mission to advocate for and resource equitable, quality care and services that improve the health and well-being of people in Philadelphia.

  • Peter J. Zuleba, III, CFA, a PHP trustee since 2017, has been elected as Board Chair. Zuleba previously served as Board Treasurer from 2019 to 2023. Zuleba is President and CEO of The Glenmede Trust Company, N.A. and The Glenmede Corporation.
  • Theodore (Ted) Dallas, a PHP trustee since 2022, was elected as Board Vice Chair and Governance Committee Chair. Dallas is President and Chief Operating Officer of Merakey.
  • Nimrit K. Kang, CFA, a PHP trustee since 2022, was elected as Board Treasurer and Chair of the Finance and Investment Committee. Kang is Co-Chief Investment Officer and Senior Portfolio Manager at NorthStar.
  • Lorena E. Ahumada, a PHP trustee since 2019, has been elected as Board Secretary. Ahumada is Of Counsel to Kleinbard LLC and a member of the Litigation Department.

In addition to the new Officers of the Board:

  • José A. Bauermeister, MPH, PhD, a PHP trustee since 2019, was elected to a second term as Strategy Committee Chair. He is the Albert M. Greenfield Professor of Human Relations at the University of Pennsylvania.
  • Jordan A. Brown, a PHP trustee since 2020, has been elected Chair of the Audit Subcommittee of the Finance and Investment Committee. Brown is a Vice President at 1315 Capital.

“The diverse talents and perspectives of our Board leaders are instrumental to the foundation’s ability to advance equity in health and early childhood health and development,” says PHP Executive Director, Ann Marie Healy.

 

 

WELCOME NEW TRUSTEES OF THE BOARD

PHP also welcomes two new Trustees to the Board: Elizabeth A. Eldridge and Jasmine E. Sessoms. Eldridge is Director of Manager Research at Glenmede, and Sessoms is Chief Engagement Officer at the Community College of Philadelphia.
