Our Purpose
Our Advocate initiative advances policy, systems, and structural change to achieve equity in health. We support organizing and collective action to eliminate disparities in health and well-being based on race, ethnicity, national origin, socioeconomic status, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, ability, environment, and background.
Our Priorities
Our priorities include:
- Organizing community members affected by disparities in health and well-being to exercise voice and leadership in advocacy efforts;
- Mobilizing care and service providers and cross-sector stakeholders to participate in collective action on equity in health issues.
