2025 Grant Awards
Philadelphia Health Partnership focuses on advancing equity in health and early childhood health and development. From January to June 2025, we awarded $555,000 in grants to eight organizations working to nurture, connect, and advocate.
NURTURE
PROMOTING THE OPTIMAL DEVELOPMENT OF CHILDREN FROM PRENATAL TO AGE FIVE TO INFLUENCE HEALTH AND WELL-BEING ACROSS THE LIFESPAN
$50,000 in support of legal services and advocacy to improve children’s access to early intervention services and full inclusion in early childhood education.
$50,000 in support of home visiting services for families with children from 16 months to four years old to stimulate parent-child interaction and develop children’s language, early literacy, and social-emotional skills.
$50,000 in support of a guaranteed income pilot to improve birth outcomes and promote perinatal and early childhood health and well-being. The Philadelphia City Fund serves as the fiscal sponsor.

IMPROVING ACCESS TO EQUITABLE CARE AND SERVICES TO ADDRESS DISPARITIES IN HEALTH AND WELL-BEING
HUNE (Hispanos Unidos para Niños Excepcionales)
$15,000 in support of bilingual case management, family advocacy, and educational support services for children and youth with disabilities and their parents/caregivers.
ADVOCATE
ADVANCING POLICY, SYSTEMS, AND STRUCTURAL CHANGE TO ACHIEVE EQUITY IN HEALTH
$65,000 in support of advocacy to expand children’s access to quality health care and early childhood services and prevent childhood lead poisoning.
Early Intervention Part C (Infant Toddler) Work Group of Thriving Pa
$175,000 in support of statewide collaboration to improve the Pennsylvania Infant Toddler Early Intervention system. Pennsylvania Association for the Education of Young Children serves as the fiscal agent.
Pennsylvania Partnerships for Children
$75,000 in support of advocacy to improve children and families’ access to quality, equitable health insurance, child care, early intervention services, and home visiting services.
$75,000 in support of nonprofit partnership to expand civic participation, make voting easier, and secure equitable representation in state government.
