Ann Marie became Philadelphia Health Partnership’s first Executive Director in 2006 after serving as the foundation’s administrator since its inception in 1997. She is responsible for managing all aspects of the Philadelphia Health Partnership’s operations, finances, and grant management, as well as implementation of the Board’s strategies.
Ann Marie began her career in nonprofit management as Vice President for operations and development of 10,000 Friends of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit dedicated to revitalizing cities and towns, conserving rural lands, and reducing sprawl. In addition, she served as the administrator for the Union Benevolent Association, one of the oldest charities in continuous existence in Philadelphia and as the executive assistant to the president of the Pennsylvania Environmental Council.
Ann Marie serves on the Board of Directors as the Treasurer of the Pennsylvania Coalition for Oral Health and is a member of the Pennsylvania Health Funders Collaborative, Grantmakers in Health, and Philanthropy Network Greater Philadelphia. A Drexel University Leading for Change Fellow, she holds a Bachelor’s of Liberal Studies degree from St. Joseph’s University and is a graduate of the Nonprofit Executive Leadership Institute at Bryn Mawr College.

Lauren joined Philadelphia Health Partnership (PHP) in 2017 as a Program Director. In this role, she developed PHP’s strategic initiative framework and grantmaking process to advance equity in health and early childhood health and development. Today, Lauren manages the foundation’s Nurture initiative to promote the optimal development of children from prenatal to age five and Advocate initiative to advance policy, systems, and structural change to achieve equity in health.
Before joining PHP, Lauren was Senior Program Analyst at the Center for the Study of Social Policy (CSSP). At CSSP, she managed the Building Neighborhood Capacity Program (BNCP), a community development initiative of the Obama Administration. Lauren facilitated the design of BNCP program strategy and implementation by a national technical assistance team and supported residents and community organizations in local BNCP sites to develop neighborhood leadership, foster cross-sector collaboration, and create revitalization plans.
Lauren previously was Senior Associate for the Economic Mobility Project of The Pew Charitable Trusts, where she conducted and commissioned research on economic mobility and worked with the project’s team to launch a bipartisan economic mobility caucus in the U.S. Senate. Lauren also served as Project Coordinator for the launch of the Stanford Center on Philanthropy and Civil Society (Stanford PACS) at the Haas Center for Public Service at Stanford University.
Lauren holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Stanford University and a Master of Public Policy degree from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Ashley joined Philadelphia Health Partnership (PHP) in September 2019 as the executive assistant. She brings six years of experience and knowledge of nonprofits administration, executive support, database management, website management, and organizational development. Ashley previously worked at Center for Literacy (CFL), a local nonprofit dedicated to providing college and career readiness for adults to succeed in post-secondary education and to obtain knowledge-based jobs. At CFL, Ashley had dual roles as an administrative assistant and a development and communications assistant. Ashley holds a Bachelor in Political Science degree with a concentration in pre-law from Mansfield University of Pennsylvania.
